Figures are in CNY; ask us for a USD quotation. Real output depends on local tariff policy, dispatch strategy and actual depth of discharge — we can run the precise calculation on your load curve.
Get an accurate calculationThe base formula is capacity (kWh) = load power (kW) × backup hours (h) ÷ system efficiency ÷ depth of discharge. For LFP just use 80% depth of discharge; in cold climates you still need extra derating. Lead-acid should stay at 50% or cycle life drops sharply.
Annual saving = daily dischargeable energy × peak-valley tariff spread × system efficiency × 365 days; static payback = total capex ÷ annual saving. That is an idealised figure — real output also depends on the length of the peak window, demand-charge management, tariff policy changes and your dispatch strategy.
Yes, and it is their biggest advantage over lead-acid. LFP is routinely discharged to 80% depth, giving roughly 1.6× the usable energy of lead-acid at the same nameplate capacity, with a far longer cycle life. That is why C&I projects overwhelmingly use LFP — see the battery lifespan and warranty guide for the numbers.
It is built for fast screening and early budgeting, so read the output as an order-of-magnitude reference. A precise design also needs the real load list, the 24-hour load curve, the short-circuit capacity at the connection point and the site temperature. NENGTUO runs that calculation free of charge — talk to our engineers.
